I do all types of gun repairs, modifications and some custom
work. I am constantly adding services as I buy more tools.
The prices I list on my "Prices" page is a general guide line.
Discounts may apply on labor if a purchase is made through
me. Also if a scope and all accessories are purchased through
me, mounting and bore sighting is free on a normal scope installation.
( not including side mounts, holes drilled off center, etc. )
If you don't see a service listed just ask, I sometimes buy tooling
for jobs as needed.
My pricing is based on a price guide published by Brownells, the
main gunsmith supplier for the US. All my pricing is at the lowest
or below on thier national price survey of gunsmith shops.
I can order most guns and have them in about 3 days. Most
handguns in 1 day as most are shipped next day air. I usally stock a
couple of used guns and a few used ones. I sell some on "Gun
Broker" under the name "gunworks1"
I do transfers of guns purchased through online auctions, other dealers etc.
My charge for this service is 25.00. As with all firearm
purchases you must come to my place of business, fill out all required forms,
show proper ID and pass the required background check.This check is usally
completed in a matter of minutes, but some checks are delayed for various
reasons and can take up to 3 business days. No firearms will leave the shop
untill the check has been cleared.
***A Note on ID Requirements***
State law requires TWO forms of ID. One must be a drivers
license or DMV issued ID Card. The ID must not be a "New Issue"
or " Duplicate" in the last 30 days unless a copy of your
driver's record is presented showing the original issue date of
issue was more than 30 days prior to the attemped purchase.
This does not apply to " Renewals" or "Reissues".
The second ID must match the Name & Address on the primary ID
exactly. Examples of second ID are Vehicle Registration, Voter
Card, Concealed Carry Permit, Hunting or Fishing License, Bank
Check, Utility Bill, ext.
If your Drivers License or ID card shows a P.O. Box, you must also
show a third ID such as Real Estate Tax Reciept, or
voter card with FISICAL ADDRESS. This must be a government
issued document.
I know this may sound complicated, but these are State and Federal Laws I
must operate by, and no exceptions will be made.
I listed these requirements so you can be prepared if you make a firearm
